Overview
DMS app is designed to delivery encrypted digital "packages" to those you trust — after your gone.
DMS works by 3 simple steps:
- Create a package in the app
- Set up detection
- Delivery
Step 1 — Create Package
Use DMS to create, encrypt and upload a "package" to be delivered upon your absence.
A package includes:
- recipient address
- text message
- attachment(s)
- passphrase
- passphrase hint
Packages encrypt locally on your phone, then upload to a cloud facility for storage. Passphrase aren't saved.
The recipient is the only one who would get the hint, so only they'd be able to open the package.
Step 2 — Presence Detection
Detection methods:
- Steps — uses motion data from your device
- Email — confirmation request via email
- SMS — confirmation request via text message
Mechanics:
- if steps detected, user presence detected
- if steps absent, a confirmation request by email or text message is sent
- if totally absence, delivery proceeds according to schedule
Schedule delivery to occur between 1 - 30 days upon your absence.
Enabling all methods of detection is recommended.
Step 3 — Delivery
In the absence of confirmation, our Company will notify your recipient of delivery.
The recipient receives:
- An access link
- A unique access link
3 steps for the recipient:
- Click access link
- Get hint, enter passphrase/answer
- Open package in browser
If the password is incorrect, access is impossible.
Packages self-destruct 30 days after delivery.
